Anyone with a stock c6z06 run a stock c7z06?

Absolutely. I have experienced the LT4 many times and driven it in anger in the twisties, the low end and mid range torque is absolutely intoxicating, but the 427 just feels so bloody special being 7 liters and revving to 7k rpm. As a poster here said that extra 500rpm feels like an eternity in the world of smallblock V8s. My plan is to keep my C6Z and add either a 6th gen ZL1 or a C7Z (both are coming down in price steadily) in a year or two. My v8 car collection would be complete then.
^^^^. Right. Those are reasons why I couldn't part with my 2007 C6 Z06, despite the C7 Z06 being an awesome car.....both are great....can't stress that enough.

This is a pretty funny video of a race between the two cars and shows the frustration of a C7Z owner getting his *** handed to him by the older car with less HP.

as a c7z owner. I’ll post your video on the c7z forum and those guys will go bat **** crazy. Lol!
thats a fair comparison and with all that torque every one thinks the c7z is better. The lt4 is better suited for a pick up truck owned by a snow bird pulljng a fifth wheel.

They are not going to be happy about that video. Not sure, but the C6 Z driver might have gotten the jump. It would interesting to see what happens for a dig. The C7 Z was tested at 11.3 seconds in the quarter and the C6 Z is 11.6. But with a manual, it comes down to the skill of the driver in most cases. I have a buddy who has a C7 Z and he wants to run our cars. My car is making 80rwhp more than a stock Z, so based on this video, it would be a slaughter from a 2nd gear pull.

Its a hoot poking a stick into the c7z06 nest.
I can do that because I have a c7z. 😂
A stock c6z will put the hurts on a stock c7z from a roll. I am not a track guy or quarter mile guy. My use case is 3 or 4 places I like to wring the cars out in 2nd, 3rd and 4th. The c6z satisfied that sweet tooth. The c7z In my particular use case is limp

I don't even have to read it know that you'll either be (a) accused of being delusional, or (b) directed to sell your car because you're unhappy.
