Thanks Gary, you're right it did not come easy and I am aware anyone near the top gets a handful of issues for their troubles. It was a long run but worth every moment in the end. I think the car is good for a 9.7x on a good day. I dropped a run that bested my best 1/8 stat by about a tenth maybe a bit more but missed 4th, she wasn't having it. Too bad, I was gunning for a certain somehow on the fastlist. he'll get his day lol.

Maybe People will stop doubting Seb as i'm now the 4th NA 427 Z06 car tuned by him trapping over 142mph

Congrats on that accomplishment! I know the hassle that you went through, but it looks like everything turned out great!

Yeah you're 100% right Gary, it's already begun. Apparently I'm running a 75shot according to the experts lmao. On top of your build I have a cam and headwork... You must be running a 200 shot by that math hahahaha guess the haterade fell off the truck somewhere.

Thank you very much. Yes, problems are all ironed out. Don't know if I could have endured that another season.

Trapping 142 on an NA z is very doable with the right parts, tune and driver. Let the people hate. They are just mad b/c they can’t accomplish it themselves.

Do you have a 2 step?

142 mph is believable, 153 though, not so much. Anyways, congrats on the 9 sec slip.

I bet when you add up the differences in those 2 setups you'll find your extra mph.

Great job James. It's been a fun journey to watch.

Thanks for that. I have defended Seb since day one and will continue to do so. I've witnessed every new best since his 9.6x days and have been included in is set-ups and even take care of some parts for him as I'm very close to the US border. I know there is nothing fishy going on but I'm not going to try to change peoples mind anymore. ROBZ said it best to me a couple of years ago..... It's lonely at the top. Closed minds will never change.

Thanks Rob for the help and support along the way. Feels like just yesterday I was asking you how to launch and what tire pressure you think I should start with lol.

Yes I agree, Seb's shifting adds at least 2 to 3 mph to the majority of peoples cars too. And yes his build makes up for the difference.

100%, sorry not sorry lol I took your #7 spot
Yes I have a 2 step. Can achieve the same 60s with or without, just a little more consistant with the 2 step.

Gotcha. You bumped me from my #7 spot. I’m getting the itch to go back and maybe get a 9.8

The word hater gets thrown around way too loosely these days.

Congrats again on the run.

I haven't been around very long, so I have no dog in the fight. Seb must be doing something very right to be trapping what a max effort, boost only, ZR1 traps.

The ls7 is a gem with tons of potential. You know what I find silly, is that people all do same thing. Same btr cam, same heads and mamo msd or something and expect that they are going to be faster then the next guy running the same package lol. Every year Seb tweaks something. I've known him for 3yrs now and he's designed 3 cams, ported 2 different intakes, tried different tires, found 3 or 4 hp here, 5 or 6 pounds there. Try this and try that it never stops.
Many want to claim BS because they simply can't match his mindset or his dedication. He tunes, builds, and drives his car, pushes everything he can and is never fully satisfied. Rather than try to innovate and try to figure out ways to catch up, people would rather throw stones. People expect that he will put in countless hours of work to be that fast just to turn around and hand-out the blueprint.

I understand. Most people don't want to be the guinea pig. Most of the people here aren't trying to break a record of even run a time. They just use what works. I also understand that mindset. It costs a lot of money to stray away from what works.

What would you say if you didn't know Seb? What would be your reaction to that claim?

Props to him if he has found the recipe. I know it wasn't easy.

It's hard to say because I was present for the 9.53@145.86 record and the 9.35@153.75 record. I've seen it with my own eyes and spent enough time with him and the car to know it's legit. That being said, there's others who have raised the bar in other classes like Ranger and Gary. Who both are practically untouchable and have been #1 for yrs. I have always had an open mind and believe that if you put the time in, you get results. I can't see what advantages he'd have cheating. He's not trying to sell cams..... Not trying to sell tunes, not winning any money, he simply is competitive. I'd love to see someone figure out how to truly push Sébastien, because then we'd be in for a hell of a show.....

I agree with what you're saying. Just trying to give you the perspective of the people from the outside looking in. It's not always because someone is hating.

There is disbelief, then there's straight up name calling and people attacking on a personal level. Claiming to hear when nitrous kicks and all that jazz. It's kinda funny knowing that it doesn't have a bottle, and hearing people say you hear it kick in hahahaha. Anyways, like we have established. Seb was the 1st to crack 140plus back in 2012, that's 6 yrs of constant reaserch and development trying to continue to push ahead. He decided to help out 4 guys and we are all Trapping passed 142+
