Default Which MGW shifter to I need for my c6 ZO6? 2 different versions

Went to go order a mgw shifter and seen there was two different version. One says flat stick short throw and other short throw shifter. What is the difference between the 2? My question is which one do I need to go with? It’s going on a 08 C6 ZO6 with a N/A motor. Thank you for your help

The flat stick is literally just that, it's a machined aluminum flat stick version that you can get in 4 different colors, vs the round chromed steel stick that looks more like stock. Otherwise they're the same.

As far as I know, the only real difference is cosmetic and the various sticks will accept different styles of *****. I'm using my factory ****.

the flat stick has a little curve to it and it mounts straight up from the box the standard stick is offset to the back and is straight up no curve, I love the flat stick seems to have a better position feel for me !!! (had the standard to start with)

The round is just a tiny bit more rearward, a 1/4" different, maybe? Compare the offset from the mounting screws to the center of the ball.

I got the flat stick with round ball. 2nd best thing I've done to my Z06. Mine had a Hurst shifter and it was awful. MGW is great!

I thought the flat stick also had slightly shorter throws than their standard shifter.

FYI, I emailed MGW and here is what I said and got from them:

I just bought your short shifter for my C6 Z06 today, but I have a question about the specific differences between the short throw shifter with the round shaft, and the short throw shifter called the "flat stick"

The flat stick obviously comes in colors, and it's aluminum, and it's slightly angled - but are there any other differences? Is the throw shorter or longer?

Could you send a picture of a side-by-side comparison if there are other differences? Since I bought the standard short throw, could I upgrade to the flat stick later, or are they too different to do that?

other than cosmetics there is no difference they function the exact same and yes you can buy the parts to make it a flat stick at a later time if you want.
