Default Please Vote for Rear CC Rotor Question in Ask Tadge

Those of us with ZR1s and Z07s have run into the issue of the rear carbon ceramic rotors being shown as unavailable or discontinued throughout the country. I have posted a question in the Ask Tadge section asking if this is really the case and what our options are? Please vote for this question to be the next one submitted to Tadge.

Done. He will probably just say to buy the latest and greatest ZR1 rotor instead. Assuming there wasn’t a large diameter change.

Thanks, while the fronts from the C7 ZR1/Z06 will fit my understanding is that the rears are a different in size.

How many track miles do you get out of a set of these rotors? Any after market options?

Miles can vary because it will depend on what tracks you are running and how hard on brakes those tracks are. Usually somewhere around 5 sets of brakes pads the rotor weight will drop below the min required specification. As for aftermarket, there are iron replacements but I don't know if there is another CC available as a direct fit.

Thanks for the votes everyone.

Jason at Katech brings up an interesting point in this post on that topic: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1596842043
