Dart LS Next Pro 427 F1X A2W - Build Thread
So, I figured I would go ahead and start a build thread as some big things are in the works for the car.
Currently the car has 11k miles on the clock, the motor is still a stock bottom end, stock head casting LS7 with the LPE660 package with a few other bits.
Here is what we are working with currently and I will provide what we have for the build.
Currently:
Gary Ochs - Ochs Performance - Plano, TX

Thank you! I just got her back last night from the wrap shop.
As far as HP I'd say 1300ish on the Mainline which is a heart breaker, at least with the F1X it should be in range. The goal eventually will be to go to a bigger blower or turbo the car, the motor has a bit of headroom before we have to go a bit bigger. Chasing that MPH number in the 1/2 LOL...
It'll take a bit of seat time to get to a point where we have it all dialed in and get it from A to B. On the street it will be a nightmare but not it's primary use.

On the gears, are you wanting to swap diffs? I was thinking you had the same level III that I had with 3.4X gears? I need to get some input on how high to gear this thing for the 1/2 at the power level it will be at on a radial. At least the power will be linear on the Procharger...

Hey brother, thank you! We absolutely need to sync up before everything gets put together, I have two sets of drag radials to use up before I go 15". Let me know when you want to run them, it will be fun. I have a feeling I am going to get skull dragged but it will be fun nonetheless.

Think I saw your car at The League Saturday night; said to my wife "that Vette has a cam in it." Haha. Highly recommend you get a CamMotion cam with it's better lobes, those GT-21's will wreak havoc on your valvetrain. Get good guides and choose your valves wisely. Johnson lifters are excellent. I really like the way your car looked before the wrap.

Yup, Yup. Just saw this...
The Corbeau's are quite comfortable, look good and hold me in pretty well. They are a fixed back seat for the C6 due to width constraints and have an air lumbar support, in my opinion they are one of the best bets for the price if you are looking for an aftermarket racing seat and or weight savings. 👍🏼
