A lot of other places really was not willing to do a custom runners they just wanted to stick to their normal program this guy was willing to do the runners longer and work with Eric on what was optimal

The motor will be around 12.8-13 comp since I will be running E85. Waiting for the cam specs but I’m sure they’re going to be 260s and 670-700 lift. We are staying hydraulic but I am making sure I am doing every upgrade valvetrain option available cutting no cost on the valvetrain. My headers are ARH 2inch with off road Xpipe. My goals are 680-700rwhp. What does everyone think about the set up and how much power should I expect. My H/C/I ls7 12.1 comp makes 625rwhp so I know I should make a lot more power than that. Thank you for anyone’s feedback. They say the motor should be ready in about two months
I'd go with a low lash roller and twin throttle bodies. That is the only way to get 700whp plus

I think you should just go ahead and cut the hood and do the Hi-Ram ported and an SW108TB to feed the 468ci HPR mill. I would also go over .700 lift as well. 700+ would be possible.

I like the Josh B route...hood off, test and tune before making irreversible decisions with the hood.

True that, I actually may do this. It is coming up on summertime and the rain will not come as much. A Hi-Ram can be had used for what? $500ish? It is cheaper than my MSD, that is for sure. I wonder what a Hi-Ram with an NW102 would pick up over a self-ported MSD and self-ported TB?

Really? I though you picked up a good bit on the top end. I am awaiting Josh’s results though, even thought that is a completely different setup. I may actually not do it, I would want a bigger cam with higher lift to feed more air. As long as I see 6 on my setup I am probably done.

Had some underlying issues. Not basing anything off those results. Hoping to see over 630 and more average power when I get everything back together.

Awesome! Cant wait to see the finished product. Single TB, or did you opt for dual?

That thing looks sick! Is it set up for a 102 or a 108 TB?

Here is the LS7 design. It has 7.5” length runners fully tapered and Full radius air horn runners.
