He's no longer in the Marine Corp
He's in college getting a degree and his wife recently gave birth to their 3rd child....he's a busy dude.
I'm sure he'll be back on here to update the thread once significant progress has been made

Those rocker arms are sexy as hell. I also am curious about the oil heater that's around the oil tank. Curious how well that works because I was looking to do the same thing. Anyone know what it brings the oil temps to?

Marietta, California is a half hour drive to the nearest gate at Camp Pendleton. So there is that. But I honestly thought he is out.

But is his car fine? I think something happened besides wiping asses.?.? Seems like a lot of time and effort went into this thread for it to be abandoned unless there was a problem

Some things are more important in life than posting pictures of car parts on a forum...its only been 6 weeks. I'm sure he'll get around to it when he's ready.

If I'm not mistaken the OP is in a post-grad degree program and it is early December. Anyone who attended college knows what this time of the semester is like. Pretty much no personal life and never enough sleep.

Thanks for the support. Yeah, been busy with family and the post grad program with the semester coming to a close. I'm working with Jared Thomsen on a billet intake manifold that is basically the same as Ryne Cunningham's. Dual 102 TBs. I ordered the intake in mid- October and it should be completed in the next few months. I might be able to post some pictures in the next few weeks.

Glad to hear all is well. Family should come first, that's what my wife keeps telling me. Never enough time to play with cars. Have a good holiday.

Default Update

Just waiting on the billet intake manifold from Thomsen Motorsports. Jared mentioned that he was having difficulty with the design for the dual throttle bodies, he gave me the option of waiting another 90 days, a full refund of the deposit, or going to a single TB design. I chose waiting another 90 days. I think the wait will be well worth it. I'm holding off on installing the pushrods or the T&D rockers until the intake manifold arrives, no sense in compressing a few valve springs just to sit for 90 days.

I've since relocated to Chicago and have winter and road salts to wait for now, too. Ryne Cunningham is still onboard with the project and plans to fly out to tune the car in person, so that will be awesome to meet up with him again. I'm really depending on him for his experience with tuning for dual TBs on the stock computer.

The car is also filthy from being trailered behind the moving truck. I bought some American Garage Wipeout to wash the car the waterless way.

Sorry for the boring wait, hopefully things get juicy in the coming months.

Awesome, Dual TB will be cool. I wonder how much power will be gained, I have not seen any results online of the LME one. I did see an LME twin TB Z at SCT ATL but his runs where not great.
