That is not a bad deal, for the money you have in your build I woul grab T&D's or Crower shaft mount, I would not want YT's in my high dollar motor. $400 is a steal though, buy and resell. See if you can make some money!

motor having top notch everything except for the rods but he’s sure they’re good

I thought HPR was doing the build? I guess that was SB only. I guess YT's will be ok on on a HR cam setup, I personally would pass. There are tons of Mamo cars and they seem to still work well. Too many issues to really want to use them though. Stock will be great until .660 lift and then after that go shaft mount RR's.
That thread is definitely helpful.

Melting Slicks
I'm using YT's on mine and absolutely no issues at all. I got my heads from AHP and I told Kohle I wanted to use roller rockers. He suggested I use YT's as well as a BTR4 cam. Now I do not under any circumstances track this car at all but I do the occasional spirited driving hitting red line. Hope this helps.

Tell us about the build that the YT’s are going on...
What rpm?
What camshaft?
What valve spring is being used?
Before everybody here dismisses the Yella Terra rockers, let’s see if they are suitable for the setup. Is that fair to ask here?
You definately got a good deal on them. Are they new?
The Yella Terra setup works well for an entry level to moderate-high performance level build, if setup properly. If your looking to shoot for 7500+rpm, which requires ultra light, yet ultra strong valvetrain components, these may not be for you.

Pushrod: Btr
lifters: Oem ls7
springs: btr .660
rockers: YT 6670
Stock intake
stock TB
Stock exhaust gutted cats
stock cold air intake.
later getting
ARH 2 inch catted x
Mamo msd

haltech intake
ATI balancer
e85
160 pound injectors IDs or fics

I don’t see the need for any more rocker arm than what your running with this setup. A lot of guys run the factory steel rockers with this cam as well.
