Keep it N/A and with the 6 speed for our next track rental...then I'll race you heads up off the tree

It had better! I wouldn't mind a low 8 possibly a 7.99 even but I may need to spray on it for that.

This thing is such a turd down low with the intake manifold for boost, blower cam, low compression, and monster 2 1/8" headers I would probably stall it with these tall tires on it. LMAO! I need boost with this motor for sure before it goes to the track.

Yes Carlyle wing and chute mount. Pretty sure the chute mount is actually made by midwest chassis however for carlyle.

So I swapped in the ID 1700s last night and since I have the stock fuel system in the car I'm at factory fuel pressure of 58 psi and still on 91 octane at this point since it's just N/A right now. I was pleasantly surprised that the injectors were able to idle at stoich without issue but as expected at light part throttle cruise and decel conditions it rides the minimum pulsewidth, however it never dipped below the 12s at the worst and was usually in the 13s AFR while riding that minimum pulsewidth. On E85 it will be even better and if I can drop the base pressure slightly once the rest of the fuel system goes in that will help even more, just don't want to upset the fuel tank transfer by lowering pressure too much. Gotta say damn impressive for an injector of this size.

If you haven't ever been over to ID, it is an amazing shop, and Paul is an awesome person. His suspension stuff he is doing now is trick. They are just behind Mesa Gateway Airport. I toured the shop and it was way nicer than any medical place I visit, which says a lot for his operation. He has a cleaner more controlled production environment than places making hearts/hips/knees.

I've always meant to head over there and check it out just haven't had the time to. I've met Paul before though and he is a good dude.

The car in my avatar is a PG swap with ERL 427 & Ysi blower. It has a 3800-4000 Coan converter and runs 93 & meth. It put down 940/ 780 ,but is not maxxed out on the pulley (I have a 2.85 and can go to 2.70). An F1X should put you well over 1100+ if maxxed out.
What converter are you going to install?

I have a PTC sitting here ready to go. PTC, Coan, and Circle D all seem to have a good handle on these setups now a days so it's hard to go wrong with any of them. I was really thinking about doing another neal chance like i had in my turbo Camaro but digging around PTC seemed to have the most experience on this combo.

Yes, lots but I've been so damn busy I haven't had a chance to really even take pictures or update. Plus the notifications on this thread stopped working or something so I had no idea people posted in it. I'll try to get some later on and post some updates...

So I grabbed a few pics when I was down at CPR today of the work in progress and I gotta say it's looking pretty damn good! There is a race coming up Saturday the 16th next weekend and the goal is to have it there and running by then, hope to have it on the dyno next week on Monday or Tuesday to see where we are at and if it's feasible or not. There are a few more things to finish up like wiring the fans, routing a few more things, etc but it's close now. We fired it up today and it sounds good and of course I didn't video it, too busy tuning a couple of cars and running through a few things on it. So here are some pics!

Engine bay shot.

Underneath the rear so you can see the glide and 9" as well as some routing

Twin front trans coolers as well as the main A2W intercooler for the blower, this thing is going to stay cool with the A/C running during the hot AZ summers!

Trans cooler mounting location behind front bumper

Front bumper back on with a good look at the trans coolers, one on each side in place of the fog lights

Looks great! Have you got anymore info on the intercooler setup? What core is used? Are you running any type of HE or just a ice box?
