Default New Holley iNTECH CAI for LS7

Holley claims 20 rwhp on their dyno on an LS7 Corvette, stock tune. 4-layer dry air filters. Interesting design, much better looking than most aftermarket CAI's.

Agreed...the dual conical filter configuration has been around for decades. At least they prettied it up with a shroud.

"The Holley iNTECH Cold Air Intake system adds 5 percent more horsepower and torque to both 6.2L and 7.0L Corvettes, which equates to 14.8 and 20.4 wheel horsepower, respectively."

Interesting blanket gains. Not super impressed.

+20 hp with no tuning is impressive, if this is truly accurate.

Such claims never are. Heat soak a car so IAT's pull timing in stock config, then cool down and install a CAI...and there's your 20 hp "gain".

Reminds of the Greddy exhaust (cat back) thread on here a while back, where Greddy claims 27.2whp / 34.7ft-lb gains...lol, they even got down to the tenths in their purported gains.

Yep I know, that's why I stated truly accurate, meaning were all conditions the same when testing.

I've been told that the two opposing inlet air streams causing significant turbulence as they collide together which impedes flow. I think it's more eye candy than any thing else.
