Default Custom emblem for my airbag by RFEDesign

In the process of refreshing/upgrading the interior of the car while it's down, and a few months ago I installed a new carbon fiber steering wheel. I upgraded the wheel with the stereo and blue tooth controls, installed the upgraded clock spring and wiring harness (my car is a 2006), but the original airbag just looks out of place with everything else I've done.
I reached out to Vasily of RFEDesign about a new leather airbag cover and parking brake handle, but I was also interested in doing a custom airbag emblem that was a bit unique from what others had done. After playing around with a couple ideas, I sent the design ideas over to Vasily, who then did an excellent job pulling it off, including finding a new material to do the Corvette script in a chrome like finish !!!!

Pretty freakin awesome looking...!! Looks great with you other carbon bits too!
Exactly what I have been looking for to compliment the newer 12 version steering wheel (leather/red stitch)...I just added too my 11 ZR.
What was the number$ on the emblem and the red stitch air bag cover.... if you don’t mind me asking....
Nice upgrades!

He did it as part of a package deal for me, but I think airbag covers are 250.00 .
I saw a blue ZR1 wheel he did with a standard airbag emblem with the ZR1 emblem at the bottom of the wheel that looks awesome...

I might reach out to them. I wanted to put the Carbon E logo on a spare Sparco horn button (I run an aftermarket wheel), maybe they can help.

Badass Vic! Looks cool. I too had him do a airbag cover and center piece. Orange Jake skull.

Looks great! I'd like to do an alcantara cover for my airbag. How do I get in touch with them? Google didn't show anything particularly helpful.

It isn't a "they" or "them". It's a one man show. He is in Russia, so don't tell your liberal friends about him if you do business with him, or you might find the feds on your doorstep. He has a thread in the c6 sale/trade forum.

I have a steering wheel from him. Simply amazing craftsmanship.

Thanks, everyone !!!

Vasily is a vendor on this board, RFEdesign is his screen name.
He's located in Russia, so be careful as his steering wheels could have possibly steered the election as well

Hey Vic, did you install the cover on the airbag, or did the leather come on its own with the center piece?

It hasn't arrived yet, but Vasily applies the leather to the plastic airbag cover (which he sources from other locations) which you then install on your bare airbag.
Removing the cover off the airbag is a pretty simple process.

Here's some pics I took when removing the existing airbag cover to get to the center emblem...
You need to pry the plastic tabs of the airbag cover up and over the metal ears of the airbag's metal frame.
