Yes, you are abnormal... But unfortunately, those shavings on an LS7 drain plug are not.

Ask yourself, why did GM stop supplying mag drain plugs from the factory? Maybe we can get that question in, I mean, if we can waste time asking about "advancements" in C7 tail light design anything should be on the table.

Cliffs:
AMP inspects C6 for sale at dealership, pulls dealership employees away to look at their trade-in. Other AMP employee dumps shavings into oil filter of car while alone with C6, tries to negotiate reduced price on car. Everything caught on video. Later claims it was all a "joke" lol
Class A douchbags....and out of business soon I’m sure!

Did you replace the OEM non-magnetic drain plugs that came on your 09Z with aftermarket magnetic ones that collect the fuzz?

It's gradually increasing your bore for displacement.

I hate to be the contrarian but I used to think this was normal. On my last Z06 it was like that or worse on two separate motors. On my current Z06 I get nothing like that and hardly anything more than minor sludge. I have always had magnetic plugs and I check very closely every 3K miles. My last car was raced (HPDE) regularly and this one only see AutoX so that might be a factor. But obviously you don't need to be a rocket scientist to see that those shavings are coming from some ferrous source in the motor and it would be BETTER if nothing was on the plugs.
