Default LS9 Throttle issue

As I mentioned in a previous post, I keep losing throttle body response when pedal is at 100%.
Logging TPS using a scanner has yielded very strange readings! With just the key on, TPS starts at 29% & goes up to max of 87% only with the pedal fully depressed! Throttle body kept ceasing whenever the pedal gets fully depressed throwing the throttle codes in the process (P1516, P2101). After the throttle body ceased, I kept logging the pedal alone & it seems to stop at max of 82% only with the pedal fully depressed. Note, if I prevent the pedal from going all the away by as little as 1%-2% the problem won't occur & the throttle body won't cease! The engine, controller, harness are all brand new purchased for an engine swap project.
I'm attaching a couple of log files.
I'd really appreciate your help

'Bump'
Please any clue what the throttle issue is?
I have installed a spacer with a screw under the pedal preventing the pedal from going all the way by 2% & that was enough to prevent the PCM from throwing the errors & throttle body to cease, just a temporary solution.

Your TPS is bad and not replaceable in that Throttle body, you have to replace the TB. Had the same thing happen

The engine is brand new, is such fault expected with a brand new TB? Should I contact GM?
Other than the TB, why my pedal maxing out at only 82% when fully depressed?
Thank you

If I remember correctly this is in a BMW race car correct? Is the throttle by cable or by wire?

By wire, again the ECM & harness are those of the LS9/ZR1, a cable TB won't work.

Default Throttle

The pedal could be giving false signal to the throttle body. You may need a need pedal. Its drive by wire pedal.

thats exactly what I was going to say. Very common with drive by wire swaps. Usually you need a pedal out the same car, in this case a zr1 for it to work.

Plenty of people have those stock TBs laying around. Ask someone to send you one and swap it. If you still have the problem then it’s the pedal. That code means there’s a difference between the throttle blade position and the throttle pedal (beyond acceptable limit)
Ive also seen water getting in the connector at the TB cause this, try some wd40, then dielectric grease, and a battery reset first. But if I had to bet I’d bet it’s the pedal.

Mine was new when it failed, maybe 1000 miles on it.
No issues until wot then the same error you got. I think the TB possibly got wet

The LS3 throttle body is smaller than the LS9s ...correct?
Any good reason to switch to an LS3s TB?

No that's not correct. The LS3 is a 90mm unit and the LS9/LSA unit is 87mm.
There's more porting room in the LS3 than the 87mm.
