Default Ideas for stripes or wrap.

I am absolutely done with the performance mods on my car and I am going to focus on a few cosmetic mods. I am curious what you guys think about stripes or possibly wrapping the roof/pillar. The color of my car is Supersonic Blue.

I need some ideas. Thanks

I’m gonna vote no on any kind of stripes, I did order s few small sheets 1ft x 4ft of carbon fiber look wrap. I was wanting see what the quality was from a few different brands and possibly do my mirrors and maybe roof. The only two companies worth using on carbon look is the 3M Di-noc 1080 or VVIVID, I went with flat or matte carbon, those two look pretty damn good. Maybe check them out and see what you think.

I too vote on wrapping the roof. I use Vvivid true R carbon. Gets lots of compliments. If that's not your style at least wrap it black.

Not a big stripes fan myself...but yes, the roof/halo wrap looks great if you've got black wheels like UH-60.

I have a carbon vinyl center stripe that looks ok. I may wrap my car Grabber Blue.

Avery Dennison(?) also has quality products. My roof/halo is wrapped in matte carbon.

Red Z; I wrapped my halo and roof 3m gloss black. It looks better but I'd advise against gloss wrap colors, as they have a lot of orange peel look in them. The satin colors are great though, as are the carbon fiber ones

Matte black centennial stripes might look good on that Super Sonic. Photo shop or print out a picture and draw what ever you decide first then decide.

I did a double stripe on my C5 using knifeless tape. The stripe was a big hit at the car shows. I say, you have to make the car your own. Otherwise, it's just another Corvette.

Yes, I ended up buying this Dry Carbon Fiber Wrap. I plan on doing the roof, b pillar and possibly the mirrors and rear spoiler.

I want to do the side mirrors on my C6, but did not think I have to skill set to pull it off.

The mirrors on the C6 are virtually impossible to pull off. I tried a few times and decided to have them done "professionally". I ended up pulling that off after a day. If seems don't bother you you'll be fine but I was hardly satisfied. I ended up having my mirrors painted. Name: photo533.jpg

Mirrors are very hard to wrap. I agree that paint is the best solution.
