Any guys run a full exhaust versus just a xpipe and dumped? Has anyone done a good comparison to see if there is power gains? I have ARH 2inch headers with off road xpipe and corsa exhaust. I can get rid of the exhaust and probably lose about 30 to 40 pounds and may make me gain a little bit of power. I’m sure it will be louder but I like that I’m just curious the sound will have a good tone or will it be just nasty sounding.

I’d doubt there’s much to be gained by eliminating the axle back section since it’s a true 3” system. Cheap and easy to make a couple turn downs off the x pipe to see though.

I run a dumped x-pipe. I don't know what gains there are to be had but I'm sure eliminating those last 2-3 bends is good for something. You'll drop 50lbs losing the Corsa exhaust. I did it for the weight savings.

It's loud but I think it sounds great. I have Magnaflow mufflers welded into the x-pipe and then turn downs in front of the axles. I'd say the drone is comparable to a Borla or B&B bullet system.

What's the plenum volume on that thing and how does it compare to an MSD?

That looks like it will fit under the hood. No cutting of the hood required?

Right. We are custom building a billet intake with longer runners to fit under a stock Corvette hood
