word. k6 was the best.
i do not regret selling mine. i think the real reason i held on to it the last couple of years was because i just loved looking at it in the garage.

Heel & Toe
Thinking this thread will be moved by a mod soon enough, but I'll play..
I too have owned more motorcycles than Corvettes, all of them as fast or faster.
Started off with a '92 CBR600F2, then a '94 CBR600F2, on to a '95 CBR900RR, then a '98 GSXR750R, then a 2001 GSXR1000R, and in parallel a 2005 CB919F (street fighter).
Road raced for about 12 years, then instructed for 3.. Sold the street bike, race bike hasn't been started in a few years..
Riding on the streets in metro ATL is just short of a death wish, some of the worst drivers (I've lived in quite a few different states).
i do miss track riding, and I do miss blasting through and over the Seirra Nevada mountains at 150 mph.
Was seriously thinking about selling a few things and picking up a 2018 or 2019 GSXR1000R..

Drifting
For the above...my son and I really enjoy the track. He uses a KTM 690 Enduro R on the street and track.
We use a BMW S1000R and RR (track only, now) on the street and track.
And the V4 Speciale has only been on the street.
I low sided twice this season. My air bag suit saved me both times; only had a bruised right hand from the first fall. Highly recommend an air bag!!!
But as others have noted with age, at 57 I might say “been there, done that” soon.
Lots of fun, though!!!

Wow, that's quite a collection of bikes. Thanks for all the responses. Looks like there are quite a few Corvette guys who are also passionate about motorcycles. To me, they kind of go hand in hand - if you like performance cars, you will probably like performance bikes, or cruisers.

I'm 66 , In the last 3.5 months I've rode my 2010 Kawasaki Concours 1400, 165 hp and exceptionally fast.. 4600 miles,... .3000 miles Fl to Arkansas mountains and back in 6 days total, and then up to the Blue ridge, around Cherokee...1600 miles in 4 days, I ride very fast usually...my eyes are good as are my reflexes. but I need my perco's ...my back is horrible...I have my handlebars and seat set up perfectly for 10 hour days in the saddle, The big fat Connie is an awesome fast ride...at 11 I was on a 3.5 hp briggs and Stratton mini bike...at 14.5 yrs old I got my Da to buy me a 1964 305 Honda superhawk scrambler, used, $495 out the door...I still walk into that dealer here in Tampa with the same family owners...Cahills. then a 650 Triumph Bonneville , then, the only new bike I have ever bought of the 30 I have owned, In Ocala Fl a brand new 1974 Kawasaki Z1B 900,,state of the art ..$2400 out the door...awesome machine back in the day.....Can't wait to pick up my dream car this Friday...a 2000 triple black C5 Z51, FE3 coupe 6 MT, only 19k miles, its the proverbial granny car...seller is 73 yr old gal...woohoo...!!!! Weird. I had a 92 F2 (red/white), 94 F2 (purple/red/black) and 95 900RR (white/purple/yellow). I had a few more 750s and 1000s after that, but am now on a 15 FZ-09.

My first "street' bike was a '92 F2 as well. Amazing little bike for it's displacement. Moved on to a 900RR a few years later, but didn't have it for long...got married.lol

IMHO, the F2/F3 was one of the all-time best...especially considering when it was introduced. Quick, comfortable, forgiving and excellent build quality. I'm always on the lookout for a nice one, but most are either totally ragged out, or their owners want way too much money for them.

Found this limited 30th anniversary edition ZX14R in NJ with only 300 miles on the odometer last year....had to have it (only 300 of them made and each bike numbered).
This bike pays homage to the 1985 Ninja 900 which was really the first "Superbike" ever built by any manufacturer (first with four valves per cylinder, liquid cooling, full fairings etc.)
I barely have time to ride it but it looks like its going 100 MPH just sitting in my shop....LOL
