Not only that but c7z wheels are like the valve guides of that generation. Cracking and failing all over the place.

Eh...good cleaner (Adam's) and a brush make it a breeze. No worries there.

Now that's worrisome...hadn't heard that. Might just have to stick with my original CUP wheels plan then.

Check the threads in c7z land or facebook. Tons of cracked wheels. Many people on 3rd or 4th set. My friend is on his 3rd set of rears.

I'm not surprized to hear this!! My stock wheels always were enough of a pain to keep clean. I just can't imagine 2x or more spokes with all those nooks and crannies!!

I just currently got the C7ZR1 knock offs which are even easier to clean.

I had a clean slate when my z/51 was totaled. I looked at a few C7 z’s but from the time I joined this forum, I was always impressed by the 427. Once I heard that engine, on a cold start, decision over. To me the C6, front to back is a work of art...

We were looking at a C7 Z06 and my wife remarked, "Your C6Z is nicer...It says 'I can kick your *** and still look classy doing it.' "

I made the mistake of trading in my 2011 Z06 which I absolutely loved for a new C7 2015 Z06 M7 back in December 2014....loved the looks/color and interior of the C7Z but didn't like how it drove with the supercharger so I sold it. That said, by the shear grace of God I actually found my "old" Z06 last week and bought it back!!!

That could be use in a commercial!! My wife has said similar things and i laughed out loud when a Mustang was messing with her, she dropped into third and left him behind. She then looked over and said, now that's how you put someone in their place.

That actually says a LOT right there. I'm glad you got your old car back man. That's like catching a unicorn, while it's pooping.

C6 is a beauty and will always be a beauty. Not going to get another corvette that looks this good.

Why GM does not make the C6 again with updated interior. That would be a huge seller, but it would kill all us who have C6 now. So maybe they should not do it. Exterior shape for me is everything.

Bottom line I like the simpler lines and the unique LS7 engine.
mkitt27: my sentiments, as well...our C6Z's are MUCH LESS COMPLICATED when sitting behind the wheel ! I don't know of any other dash, outside of my 2002 Saturn SC2, that is as appealing as the C6 dash. I would be incredibly distracted with all that "stuff" going on, as it does in the C7 dash...all I would really care to see for our cars is a Nav map upgrade ! Just something about all the simplicity that appeals to me...after 6 months in the garage for Winter, it's like getting into a new car every April or May, anyway !!
