Default 19x10" wheel.......275/30 or 285/30 tire size

Might have a set of wheels on the way for my 09 Z06.

Stock front tire is 275/35/18, 275/30/19 overall diameter is about 2mm shorter than stock, 285/30/19 tire is about 4mm taller than stock. Which is better to use on a 19x10" front wheel?

Rear tire and wheel is factory size, 325/30/19 on a 19x12" wide wheel.

4mm is nothing. Wider is almost always preferred. 285 on a 10" rim is pretty perfect.

I run 275/30/19 in the front and have no issues with the 325/30/19 rear.

Are u running a 10" wide wheel with your 275/30 tires? Any chance you can post up a pic so I get an idea how it looks? 275/30/19 tire has a recommended rim width of 9-10" so I wonder if the tire looks stretched on a 10" wide wheel.

Great!!!! Thanks for the pics. The stretch doesn't look too bad doing the 275/19's on a 10" wide wheel.

Over the weekend Michelin showed a 285/30/19 PS4S on their site and tire rack also but yesterday that tire size is gone...……………...looks like if I go 4S I'll have to do 275/30/19

To ALL, Why not run a 345/30/19 on the rear 19x12 Wheel if running

285/30/19 on front

I am considering the above but thinking Michelin Super Sport or Nitto Invo are ONLY 345 tires
Cant recall what tires are available in 335/30x19

Your speedo would be off unless you tune to account for the different in overall diameter.

https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=325&aspect=30&diameter=1 9&wheelwidth=12&offset=50&width2=345&asp ect2=30&wheel_size=19&wheel_width=12&off set2=50

I think you would want a wider wheel than 12" for a 345 tire (even though they recommend 11.5-12.5" rim width for it), I would go 13" for that wide a tire personally.

Same sizes here too on cf10s
Works great and they are a tad cheaper in 275/325

Tires ordered. I was going to do Michelin PSS but unfortunately in my neck of the woods they are no longer avail and replaced with PS4S.

If PSS were avail I would have done 285/30 and 325/30 but since they are no longer avail and 285/30 is not avail in the PS4S I went ahead and ordered 275/30 and 325/30 PS4S.

Hope to have the wheels sometime next week...……………...get them cleaned up and install my sensors then off to the tire place for tire mounting then storage in my basement till spring before they go on my Z.

I recently purchased new wheels and tires for my '06 Z and I can tell you with absolute certainty MPSS 345-30-20 and 285-30-19 are a perfect match and fit. Yes the speedo was off by 4 MPH but my tuner took care of that and now it's dead on.

So those of you running 275/30/19 on the front of your Z what pressures are you running? Stock 275/35/18 tire pressure is 30psi do you run the same or another value?

After talking with LUKE at TIRERACK.com Ive made the decision to use the below Tire Sizes on my 2012 Grand Sport......

Front 295/30-19 (26" Dia/11.6" Wide) Michelin Super Sport on Front 19x10.5 Wheels ET 35
Rear 345/30-19 (27.1" Dia/13.6" Wide) Michelin Super Sport on Rear 19x12.5 Wheels ET 55

This above combo has the same Difference in Dia (1.1") as the OE 275/35-18 & 325/30-19 has (25.6" Dia / 26.7" = 1.1 Difference
This above combo has +33 more Revs/Mile for Front Tire vs the rear & the OE set up was +34 Revs/Mile on Front Tire.
Same dia diff 1.1"/-4.1% should play nice with sensors, Active Handling, Traction Control yada yada

From misc threads/posts/Vendor Emails the 295/30-19 Will fit "OK" but I expect to have to RAISE my 2012 Grand Sport from its
lowered on Stock Bolts position!!!!!

Thanks to any/all that replied............

I run 285/30-19 on the front, thinking that 295 would probably also work? I have F-14's in ZR1 size so 10" wide. As far as the 345/30-19 on the rear, they reduce your speedometer reading by 1.5 MPH. So in plain English, if it reads 70 MPH, you're really going 71.5....This difference can be tuned out.
I'm running PSS on the rear. Not the Run Flats.

Everyone...Compare two different tire sizes at www.tiresize.com
and compare wheel fitments/offsets at www.willtheyfit.com

LUKE from TireRack.com said 295/30-19 will fit C6 Wide Body Front
so that what I staked my future on with the set up Ive outlined above.

I'm expecting some rub when I go lock to lock...and may have to raise
my lowered Grand Sport a bit...

I will post pics as soon as I receive and mount/balance

Looking forward to seeing pics.
My 2 threads on my Forgeline wheels that I purchased are HERE, the rear wheel ended up being 12.5" wide FYI.

Quick Reply: 19x10" wheel.......275/30 or 285/30 tire size
