Default Kong Performance Billet ZR1 LS9 Air Divider (Dyno Graphs from Back to Back testing!)

We are excited to finally have these Kong Billet Lid Dividers in production and available for purchase! After multiple successful back to back tests, these have proved to provide a drastic increase in efficiency within the LS9 lid!

Features:
Reduces post rotor turbulence by guiding pressurized air directly through the intercooler bricks. The factory design sends the air straight out of the discharge port into a flat surface (the top of the lid) forcing it to make a 90 degree turn while creating large amounts of turbulance, By adding our divider, we immediately noticed increased throttle response and significant HP and TQ gains (See Dyno Graphs) We saw a gain of +36rwhp and +25rwtq during our first customer’s independent back to back test! (See dyno graph in product images.) This before and after test was done back to back on Dynojet with as close to equal temperatures as possible.

The Kong LS9 Billet Air Divider is CNC cut here in house from a single piece of 6061 aluminum billet!

Simple installation! No permanent modification is necessary! This piece simply reuses the factory intercooler brick bolts for installation to make it 100% bolt in and removable at any time.

I've been interested in that as well and tempted to try it for myself to find out. I have access to a dyno and drag strip, but have had too many irons in the fire currently.. My assumption is the gains are proportional to the power; I would not anticipate a 30WHP bump on a setup only making mid-600's (but I'd love to be wrong)! If nobody steps up I may take it on, but have to get some other projects completed first.

I am looking forward to the results of the air divider/Mamo heads/108mm snout/CF intake I'm doing over the winter.

I was lucky enough to be one of the first test cars and Im super happy with the resutls. We did a true before and after test on the same day, same conditions and NO TUNE adjustments whatsoever.

Legit results: Total of 36whp / 25wtq gain on a 28'' drag tire, after that we headed over to the track and Gained 3 mph at the track from 138 to 141. On top of that we also gained over a lb of boost.

If you havent got yours yet go ahead and order yours, YOU WONT REGRET IT.

So the addition of this part DOESN'T require a tune?? This seems odd. Kong...can you clarify?
