Default Anyone had their heads done at Corvette Masters in Orlando FL?

Has anybody had any experience with Corvette Masters in Orlando, FL? Has anybody had their valve guides addressed by them? Are they good people?

They quoted me ~$3300 fix the valve guide issue.

Thank you!

try the southeast regional forum

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/southeast-42/

but what exactly does "fixed" mean? Exactly what does your $3300 get you? Are they doing the valves and guides in house? Sourcing the heads elsewhere? From whom?

$3300 isn't bad for head removal, new guides valves and reinstall.....Powertech Performance in St Pete did mine a couple years ago

AHP probably has the best vendor reputation on this forum. It's mind bogging to me that people would not want to use them to address there heads!

it’s mind boggling to me someone would respond with a comment that has nothing to do with the question of the thread. I didn’t have my heads fixed at AHP but I am very happy and confident they were fixed and addressed correctly.

AHP isn't going to be doing a head swap on a car in Florida anyway. Pointless comment.

How would it work? I just want to get the valve guide issue addressed, currently the 505 HP it comes with is plenty. If I buy the kit is there a shop near the central Florida area you would recommend?

Our in house (at our shop) basic package 4 rework is $3,300 plus tax. this includes removing your heads, reworking them into our package 4 cylinder heads and reinstalling them with ARP LS7 head bolts, gm mls ls7 head gaskets, gm ls7 exhaust manifold gaskets, NGK tr6gp platinum spark plugs, ac delco spark plug wires, mobile 1 oil, oil filter, coolant and all assositated labor.

If you want one of us to fly to Florida and remove your heads there it would be at an additional cost to our normal basic package 4....but would include all listed above except we would bring a set of our core package 4 heads with us/ship ahead of time. We would swap out your old heads for our new package 4 heads and take/ship your old heads back to cali with us as a core exchange.

We can do the swap in your garage or driveway as long as the price is right (and there is solid ground to work on)!

We fully stand behind all our work

Our basic package 4 heads are the heads gm should have originally put on your vehicle

PM me for more info/details

Although I will say I’m happy with the job that was done on my heads by my local shop (they were shipped to SPS) I am very impressed with the AHP response and customer service.
