Default ZR1 Sighting

You know, you just don't see many C6 ZR1s out on the road. I saw a white one yesterday in my area and it looked sharp. I probably see two a year. I live in the Flower Mound area of DFW. There is a lot to like about them and the exclusivity is one of them. I see a lot of C7 Zs, but not that many C6 Zs. Naturally, as cars get older you don't see them as much. It's just going to get more exclusive as the years roll on and some of them bite the dust. And if they become collector cars, they rarely get driven. It sure is a lot sharper looking than a C7 ZR1, but don't tell anyone in the C7 section. That thing looks like bloated bat mobile.

I live in Frisco but my closest friends live in FM so I am in that area often with my 2012 Centennial ZR1. You are right, I rarely if ever see another C6 ZR1 on the road. The rarity is one of the main reasons I bought her!

A bit off the original subject but, in all the 13 years I had my 2000 Arctic White FRC, I never in those 13 years seen another one nor have I to date.

Now that I have an 2013 Arctic White C6 Z06 for 5 years, I never seen one either, nor have I ever seen a C6 Arctic White Z06 in the 9 years of the C6 Generation.

I like that.

And I don't see many C6 ZR-1's either. I see more online in YouTube videos that I ever have in person.

Continuing off topic, and correct if I’m wrong - without referencing the Corvette Action Centre stats - I think Artic White/White had been absent from the C5 Corvette paint options for a time. I remember when they announced the return of white for the FRC and thought it was a GREAT decision. Nice car.

I've yet to see another C6 ZR1 in my area. I've only had mine about 2 months (came from NY) but it sure has turned a lot of heads.

I also live in the Houston area and rarely see them in the wild, other than mine

n the last Corvette cruise I went on there were two more. I've seen a red one once or twice and that's about it. C7 Z06s are everywhere, and I have yet to see a C7 ZR1 on public roads. Only one of those I have seen was at the dealer and it's ugly IMO.

No regrets switching from my z06 to the ZR1 this past summer - love it and yes, few on the road for sure. My first week cruising around, guy on a motorbike pulls up to me at the light, flips his visor and says " ZR1 - nice "

That was probably a friend of mine, Jason. He lives in Colleyville. It's the only white one I have seen in DFW. There were only ~180 white ones built I believe.

I never owned an exotic, but I have owned many high end sports cars and many limited edition cars. I never remember once with any of those cars seeing people video the car at stop lights or in parking lots. With the ZR1 it happens often, especially now with the cam and the choppy idle. It's kinda cool.
