Tire options - Non run flats
I have a 2013 427 and it has 19” fronts & 20” in the rear and was wondering what would be my best option for non run flat tires. I have the Michelin sport ZP on the car currently and to be honest road noise is loud and I really don’t care for how the run flats track on the road. Anyone have any recommendations for replacements as on the searches that I have done it looks like I am very limited on what I can choose.

What do you guys think of the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S in 275/30/19 and 325/30/20 compared to Continental ECS 285/30 and 335/25?

I use Continentals and really like them ride so much better than run flats and are way quieter. A little slower in transient response but that is to be expected with any tire that has some give in the sidewalls vs any run flats which have no give in the side wall which is how they achieve there run flat capability.

MPS4s. I went from the OEM Goodyear run-craps to these tires and the traction is night and day better. They are also quieter and ride better. My old tires had gotten hard and were very noisy. If Michelin comes out with a new run-flat, I would look at those.

What sizes did you go with? If they are 19/20 combo can you post some pics?

I went with the OEM size. Go to tirerack.com and plug in the car info. It will bring up the tires for your car in the OEM size. Get a price with shipping and mounting and use that number to beat-up Discount Tire. They will match any price, but you will have to bring in the quote. From the research I did before getting the MPS4s, they are an improvement in the MPS2. I get great traction and my car is putting down 526whp.
