Dear lord. This thing will be an absolute animal. I say this all the time but it’s truly badass that companies as well as individuals are still coming up with new ideas and R&D’ing new parts for these motors(LS7).
I am interested to see your build vs Jeremy’s. Both will be amazing but just ready to see some numbers. As I know you two are anxiously waiting lol.
out of curiosity is that a Carbon Creationz hood?
also if you don’t mind me asking, what did you remove or replace with lighter parts to drop weight down to 2960? And what will you remove/replace next to drop another 60 lbs? I ask because I would like to drop some weight if it’s something I can live without for 1/4 mile purposes.

My build is very close to Jeremy's...same heads, compression, displacement, et al. His has a slightly different option from a journal/bearing setup, and to reach the 13:1 compression required a .040 head gasket (I think). He's running an OEM water pump, G1Pro manifold with 102 tb, and still runs the 3.42 rear gear and MN6 transmission....... I'm an electric water pump, the big plenum tunnel ram intake, 102 tb (but probably moving to the SW 108), a 3.90 rear gear, and the MH3 spec TR6060 ZR1 transmission.
We are both on ARH 2" headers..... I'm on an Akrapovic EVO titanium exhaust.....can't remember what Jeremy runs.
Weight savings.... ZR1 roof and halo, Racing Brakes two piece brakes front and rear, titanium exhaust, partial cf hood, Shorai lithium battery, etc. I pull the passenger seat when racing but have kept my OEM driver seat in. With my drag pack wheels and tires on the car, remove floor mats and rear cargo mat, and 1/4 tank of fuel, I weighed in at 2960 lbs without driver. My driver seat weighs 53 lbs, so I plan to put in a manual racing seat in place for race events, so that's another 25 lbs. I'll pull my axle back and run a pair of turn downs off my titanium x-pipe to shed another 30 lbs. and my last piece will be the Katech carbon hatch...and maybe move to the Lexan rear glass to go with it.

In fact, if you haven't seen my other threads, look at what else is going on while the engine upgrades are taking place

depending on what manifold I decide to go with, it will be getting a direct port of some kind (spacer plate or individual nozzles) and still looking at a 3.90 gear.

Additionally, on the weight savings side of things, I was originally going to run the light weight "Cup" wheels on my car in the ZR1 sizes.
Those Cup wheels actually come in at Front: 26.8lbs.....Rear: 28.7lbs. 19x10 and 20x12 respectively. I still run the run flat tires for my street cruising purposes, but when paired with my Vertini RF1.2's in 19x10 and 20x12 , I come in lighter than the Cup wheel combo
Track setup are Weld RT-S and CCW for drags, and a full set of CCW C14's in 18x11 and 18x13 for HPDE track days

Drifting
Car looks sick, what concerns me is running 20x12's on the rear with Cup's for street. I would figure if you made 700ish rwhp you would still spin like no tomorrow? I am just wondering as I am around 6 and spin my 19x12's like no tomorrow. On the hit from 60 I immediately go sideways and have to let off.

For track duties such as 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile drags, I switch to my race/drag pack. I ran my Mexico 1.5 mile on my street setup, as I wasn't running another car so the aspect of acceleration and traction wasn't my main concern..... only the quality and speed rating of the tire itself.
If I was to compete in some type of "street" action, I'd be wearing my drag setup for traction

I use a VBox Sport to validate time to distance and speed, so I'll be sure to share all of that with you guys once I get some events (be it mexico or otherwise ;-) ) under my belt.

Yeesh, those first pictures of your interior looks like the car was left on the streets in the Bronx for about.... 6 hours!
Purdy now, though.

It all depends what what you goal or end game is.
3.90's ended up being the better compromise for my setup, given I run 1/4, 1/2 and 1 mile competitions, as well and HPDE. I install shorter or taller diameter tires to adjust the final drive accordingly, based on the events I'm running.
I would post the calculator I used to look at the results that helped me make my decision but the site is no longer available
This one looks to be good as well..... http://www.gtsparkplugs.com/GearCalc.html
Here's two comparisons I did, first is 3.90 vs 4.10 with a 25.5" 315/35/17 Hoosier Drag radial....... MH3 tansmission, 7400 RPM shift
Same setup, but with 27" diameter tires.....

Looks like my heads are shipping today from WCCH !!!! As soon as I get the air flow test results from Rich, I'll be sure to post them here
Based on the results, I can move on to cam and spring selection
