Why not make a contest out of it. Post guesses on whp numbers and when we dyno the closest person gets $250 credit toward any LG Product

Should scream!
What’s the cost for that mod list installed and tuned ..as I’m shopping for mine....?
I’m guessing 6-8K?

I’m thinking closer to 10k honestly, good labor isn’t cheap....I found that out the hard way unfortunately, cost me more in the end actually.

This is what I was talking about the other day with taking cars to shops that do not specialize in ZR1's. My comments are in red below

Originally Posted by [email protected] View Post

Build
LG 1 7/8" SuperPro Long Tube Headers
Tell him to spend a few more bucks and get Kook's 2" headers
LG C6ZR1 SuperCool Radiator & 160 Degree Thermostat
Radiator and t stat are a waste of money on these cars
LG G9XB Cam Kit
LPE Air Intake
LPE intake is the first thing the customer will end up changing, it will be a restriction and he will pay 700 plus dollars for something he will not get 200 bucks for used in a few months. A 4.5" Synergy is the min and a 5" Kong intake would be better.
LPE Supercharger Snout
NW 102mm TB
2.6" Upper & 14% OD Balancer
DSX Flex Fuel Sensor
ID 1050X Injectors
High Capacity Heat Exchanger
Ally Control Methanol Kit
No reason for Alky on these cars unless you have no access to E85, Even then I would not use it, better ways to spend you money.

This customer should have done his homework. For the money he could save by not getting the radiator and the alky kit (especially paying a shop to install!) he could get the snout and blower ported while they are off.

BUT, the number one thing I see wrong with this list is a serious raise in boost and nothing mentioned about reinforcing the bricks?????

I’m sending the bricks to ProSpeed, forgot that on my thread.

We’ve been in business for 30 years and maybe you didn’t know that we won the spectre 341 hill climb back to back years with a highly modified ZR1. This car has been stock for 8 years and a street car, I assure you he won’t be removing the intake, the Alky is there primarily for if he wants to run 93 because 85 is semi accessible where he is. Kooks 2” is will yield a higher dyno number but lose torque. This is meant to be a fun thread about a build take your keyboard elsewhere.

You can always put meth to use lol, not sure why you’d scrap it.....

my guess with meth/E85 819whp I’d say torque won’t be to far behind
