***** yes!!! Thanks to the OP and the shop for doing this!!! Been waiting for EVER to run this thing. Thanks MTP for getting me here. I'll cut my hood and cowl in a heart beat to run this intake!

EDIT: Just thinking out loud. But if adaptor plates were made (offsetting/moving the intake forward call it...1/2" to 1") you may not have to cut as much from the cowl. And, you're cutting the hood anyways...sooo...drop engine mounts, adaptor plates, and a CAI seem like the ticket.

Looking good. Wipers being gone completely. Big sacrifice for some but then again those people wouldn’t be attempting this intake lol

Im really digging this though. Wanted to see something like this for quite some time

Are the left and right sides attached to each other? If so can they be detached and moved so slight adjustments to angles coming of the heads can be made?

I have a head/intake alignment issue I have to find a work around for and I believe I already have a solution but if not this could also work.

How much power do you expect out of this Intake

They're separate pieces but intertwined. Theres wiggle room but they're not coming apart.

What throttle body controller will you all use? Also, custom cold air? MAF's?

Exactly John... So many people don't realize that your whole engine bay is exposed to weather even without the hood cut open, or the cowl.

Or I guess he could be implying because of the wipers being gone.

That is what I was thinking too, as in this day and age it takes a real brain donor not to realize that connectors/etc are sealed. The wiper thing is somewhat valid, but how many people are driving there 600+rwhp cars in the rain? I've had my wipers on/off for past 8-9 years. Will run without them for 2-3 years, then get nervous, and put it on, have it on for a year, never once turn it on, realize it is just useless weight, and then take it off again. If there is going to be any amount of rain that requires wipers, my tires are far more of a concern, and I'm pulling over and waiting the rain out. Plus just check weather and don't drive on days with a chance of rain.

So much of this. Driving on radials is super sketchy when the roads are wet. I don't drive the car in the rain because of the tires, not because I have a hole in my hood or no windshield wipers.

RainX the windshield if you need to. Unless it's a total downpour, it's not going to effect your ability to drive in the rain.

Wow, Apparently everyone here is unaware that in the entire United States, there is a law (DOT,,,,,,) requiring a device (wiper) on your windshield that will remove a minimum of 35 square inches of rain, dirt, or what ever in your viewing space....

That is true, and I know many cops that crawl under cars to look....It's as easy to see as a wiper....geez.....!
