Those with side skirts & lowered cars, WHICH floor jack do you use?
hey guys, just pulled the trigger on some skirts and the car is also lowered on stock bolts so i will be buying a new floor jack. Ive been rocking a 75.00 harbor freight jack for the last 10+ years without a problem.
I just wanted to see what you're using to narrow down my decision.

My car is lowered and has side skirts. In order to get my Sears jack past the side skirts I drive the car up on a 2x4.

I use this one. It is a solid, sturdy, low-profile jack (3.5" to 18"). It's steel not aluminum so it is heavy, but it works very well and is well made. Easy to roll around and jacks up quickly. I'm lowered and on coilovers. It usually fits under just fine but for certain tracks I go to I sometimes adjust the ride height even lower and so then I need to drive up onto a small cut down 2 x 12. It takes an extra 2 seconds to place it down and drive up onto it before I jack it up. Gives me the slight additional clearance I need.
And here it is jacked up. You can see the small board I used to raise it up slightly as I had the car much lower for this particular setup and track. I'm happy with it. If I wasn't, it would go right to the trash and I would buy a different one. I have about 3-4 jacks in my garage that I use, in addition to a Quickjack lift that I like and I use this one the most.
