Default LPE snout clearance question

I’m looking to run a little more boost, current setup is a 2.6 upper on an lpe snout and IW 10% lower. Don’t really want to deal with swapping lower pulleys right now, I would like to go to as small as possible on the upper but was wondering if the Lpe snout needs to be machined or clearanced at all and if so at what size pulley. Thanks in advance.

It does not, I run a 2.20 upper and 10% IW lower on my car, great set up.

Awesome to hear that, thanks. How much boost do you see with that setup? Also what size belt are you running?

I use a stock size belt with a 76mm idler on the drivers side. I have a Synergy Intake, 102mm TB, Kong race ported LPE snout, Kong race ported blower, untouched heads, a BTR Stage 3 cam and 2" headers and see between 17-18lbs.

What kind of power does that put down ? Do you have a build thread you can link to ?

Thanks for the info. Funny enough that is exactly the same setup I have. What kind of numbers did you make if you don’t mind?

Awesome, not bad.

Why is that? I know there are better options than the BTR 3 these days but it can’t be that bad.
