Ah thanks for the correction.

And theft recovery then repainted? Maybe the paint was baddly marred by the thieves and the car required a repaint anyway.

I suppose it’s possible if not plausible. The cars condition is fair/good with some unknown engine work. Dealership says it’s original paint but you all know convincing them
otherwise is a losing battle. I tried him at 23k and he tried to sell me his 2010 base model for 20 saying a Z06 will never be had for that price. At 86k miles I feel it’s close to a pretty good depreciation hit once it clicks 100, thus I can’t rightly agree to his offer of 25.5 as of now. But if anyone on here is interested in a ‘cheap’ white Z, there’s one in Miami for you

Run, don't just walk. Plenty of good, original cars out there. And it having it's original factory paint would be a must. Black to white - awful! Just another trashed Z.

I think theft recovery comes with a branded/r-title. I would pass.

THIS^^^^....a used 2006 Z06 is not some rare find in today's market.

I was thinking the same but don't know the answer for sure?

It get's a no from me as well. Other cars around and available without questionable history.

What also get's a no is buying one of these cars on a budget. Often times once the modding begins it can be a slippery slope.

Going to bump this instead of making a new thread, found an 08 2LZ car with 45k miles local to me. Car is allegedly stock which yes means it needs the heads addressed. Tentatively agreed to 27.5 with the seller. I feel like thats a solid deal but maybe im wrong? Car is victory red which is certainly not my preferred color but I like red on C6Z's more than any other car.

Sounds like you’re getting a really good price. Without seeing the car, driving it, or knowing the history, it seems like a great deal.

On the surface, it sounds like a winner deal.
