285/35/18 work with 325/30/19s w/o DTCs or AH woes?
3 years ago I went with PSS 345/30/19 & 285/35/18 (08Z) based on several conversations and numerous readings citing no problems. Well my rears do rub & I've gotto take some action. I talked a friend into doing same & his (07Z) actually destroyed his driver side rear wheel liner. Anyway, since I've only logged 4K on these Michelins, I'm hoping to be able to get away with replacing rears only with the original size tire (325/30/19). I had been running suspension lowered all the way on the stock bolts but have recently had to raise it back up (& it still occasionally scrubs) and the raised look is butt ugly. Can I get away with changing rears only back to OEM size?

I currently have the same tire on aftermarket wheel and I get VERY minor touching of the tire (takes off the tire dressing) and thats with a 50 offset.
Anyways just check the tire diameters and see what the ratio is. (rear diam/front diam) if its close to 1.04 you will be fine.

No Spacers used
No spacers, mounted on OEM rims. I had originally gotten the idea from Undy at a local car show, & after doing a little searching it seemed to be a common mod. Scrub'g was less initially, thinking maybe shocks are getting softer. But like I mentioned earlier, my friend's 07Z actually ruptured his fender liner & he hadn't even heard a scrub'g sound. His car was purchased new & adjustment bolts have never been touched. Inconsistencies are amazing.
