Default Help Needed on Sale Price - 06 Z06 in SoCal

Hi guys,

I guess it’s been 5 years since I was last on the forums, time and life both had other plans for me it seems. Anyway, I am looking to sell my Vette but I’ve been out of the loop so long, and current listings in the FS section are so varied and all over the price scale, that I honestly have no idea what a fair price to ask is. I’m not allowed to list without a price, so hopefully I can post here to figure one out. I’m not interested in squeezing every penny out of it as time isn’t on my side, so the lower side of fair might be perfect. Below are the details, any help on a starting price is greatly appreciated.

2006 Z06
in Los Angeles, but lived in Alaska
Lemans Blue
black with gray accent interior
51,000 miles, I am 2nd owner
48,000 of those miles are mine; first owner had it 4 years and drove 3k.
HEADS NOT FIXED OR CHECKED (yes, this will kill the price, I know)
99% stock, only mods are Mild 2 Wild, Pioneer HU, and white LED interior lights.
paint protection film on bumper and partial hood / fenders
no engine mods ever equipped.
no major repairs of any kind
No accidents, no repaints except for the roof recalls
all other recalls are done
Michelin Pilot Super Sports, 11k on them

Thanks for any help.

Upper 20s. I would say in the $27-28 range because of the color being desirable.

Dont think most buyers would freak about the heads not being done. Not like the LS7 isnt known for other stuff.
If it runs fine bet it sells

For example saw another z06 posted this morning, $28k for a lower mileage loaded 2008. It was red though, and that was his asking price, so more miles, 06, but a better color.

Realistically ask $28k and take $26-27. Depending on tires/brakes/etc.

What a good bang for the buck..used to be the C5z was. Still is I guess but the LS7 really changes the appeal hard to say no to those cubes!
first owner had it 4 years and drove 3k
I dont get it...

Being LMB and in the LA area, you may be able to fetch as high as $30K

the previous owner actually had a good excuse, he had a lot of corvettes besides this one. A 1965 427 convertible (I think) and a brand new (in 2010) ZR1, and some others. He spent a lot of time driving Vettes but no individual one got lots of miles. They were all blue and looked amazing.
