Good deal and I'm glad it worked out for you. Torch Red is still my favorite color. Enjoy!

It's hard to go wrong with a C6 ZR1. They are awesome cars. Congrats.

I'm not sure what happened after 3 months but saw this same car for sale on Car Gurus again. However, this time it's in San Antonio Texas with an additional 1K miles on it.

Yeah, that is strange, but you never know. Looks like a beautiful car. Love the red calipers with the TR paint.

Agreed, I didn't want to jump to conclusions either but was curious to why. Hopefully it wasn't due to anything being wrong with the car although it was previously tracked so anything is possible.

He did the mods he was talking about doing. I see the ad... says flex fuel, 1050 injectors, etc. So yeah... he did additional mods, drove it for 1k miles and sold it. It would be interesting to know what happened if someone on this site was in the market for it.

Inquiring minds want to know... It is a Bad *** ZR!!! Love the TR and this interior.

I too looked at an 09 TR ZR1... Although nice, decent mileage, a price I could afford. It had the dreaded peeling, bubbling dash and the front tires were worn unevenly. I was going to buy that car from Corvettes of Dallas. However, when it arrived it was not as described at all... I am glad it wasn't.

That's exactly my thoughts but I'm doubtful he will return and explain. However, the back story would be helpful for anyone who looks at that car.

Hopefully he replies to me. I haven't been in the game for years. I always wanted a ZR1 and found this one yesterday. I drove it and it seems to drive really well. No rotor shake, lugged it in all the gears and the trans seems smooth. Car overall looks good but I am now second guessing this purchase. Im not scared of a tracked car at all being a X performance shop mech in SA. But I am curious and it has taken a long time for me to find a ZR1 I like.
