Wow...rare, low mileage collector car about to become full-blown race car.

That’s the one. One of my buddy’s with a centennial 12 ZR1 saw it at Palm beach cars and coffee just before my friend bought it.

Wow - great find.Congrats!!
I really wanted a C6 ZR1 but as I lost my left leg in a motorcycle accident over 30 years ago - I am regulated to automatics.

Like others have posted, time to break it in.

One of my friends collects low mileage late model cars and doesn’t drive them. He had just acquired this 2012 one owner ZR1 with the very rare (only 2 in 2012) red interior option. He found something he wanted more 2 weeks after getting it and said he sell it to me for what he had in it which was almost $10k below loan value. He had never even titled the car to himself. I couldn’t pass it up. So here is my 231 mile 1 owner 2012 ZR1.

I need better friends. I love the interior as well and wish more would have choose it. Enjoy it!

My friend’s shop. The ZR1 was out of the pic to the left, the C7R Z06 is out of the pic to the right. All but 2 have less than 500 miles. You can’t see the Demon on top of the lift and the GT 350R under the lift. Front is a GXP Firehawk, only 9 were built, factory supercharged 550hp.

WOW!! Nice ride!! I am curious what you will think abut it compared to the modded Z06 that you had. My Z06 is similar to your old one and like you, the first thing I would do if I were ever fortunate enough to own a ZR1 is make louder. Much louder. CONGRATS!!!

Its really hard to tell because I’m on tires that were built in 2010 so it mainly just spins. I also haven’t even gotten all the way into it because it still only has 730 miles on it. I’m gonna go to 1k and change the oil again before I really beat on it. I can remember beating my FI buddies because I’d get the jump on them while they were spoiling their turbos or supercharger and they could never make it up.
