Advice on mods list of possible Z06 purchase
I'm looking to pick up a C6Z and found one with the following mod list in the ad. Says there's more parts and this is just a quick list. Assuming it was put together properly does this sound like a reasonable build list ? Will be a street driven car for me, some track days , no drag racing.
With the specs provided , does the cam sound streetable or would it be subject to surge when cruising through the parking lot etc? Anything to ask the seller if/when I make contact ?
- Center force twin disc clutch
- New timing set
- Custom dyno tune
- CNC ported ls7 heads hand finished including titanium intake values and stainless exhaust values, double springs, titanium retainers
- Custom hyd roller camshaft 226/239 @.050
- Caddy high rev gm lifters
- Chrome molly push rod kit
- MLS head gaskets
- ARP head fasteners
- Fast intake
- Fast fuel rail kit
- Stainless works headers and x- pipe kit with high flow cats
- K+N cold air kit

Safety Car
Sounds like a good start. What size are the headers, what is the lift and lobe separation on the cam, does it have a 102 throttle body. How much $ and mileage?

Melting Slicks
My guess is that it could drive pretty well. I have a 246/258 @ 0.050 and Pat G got it running real nice. 24 degrees of overlap. I can idle through a parking lot smoothly. I have more cubes though
