Default Fast 102 to MSD?

I am thinking of switching my Fast 102 to a MSD. My car is a HCI . Has anyone done it and what kind of gains did you see? Did you have it ported?
Made 550 hp and 510 tq.
Thanks

The ported mamo is good for a 35-40 hp bump when you have an hci car...rpm has there b3 package and if you add the mamo ..you can get somewhere in the 640 range. they did one z06 with this setup and they got 657 at the tire.

I picked up 28RWP & 25RWT, I went from a stock intake and throttle body to a MSD ported by Tony Mamo & a 102 NW throttle body.

Unless 10-15HP is worth $1500 (ported Mamo MSD), you won't see a big gain here.

IMO, I also don't think the change would be worth the money.

I made the change on my H/C/I/E Z..... My MSD is ported by a friend... picked up 22-18 to the tire. If I am being honest, my previous tune was ****. It was worth it to me. Sell you FAST add that cash to the MSD.... Money well spent IMO

Here is some more "data" on this situation provided in the thread linked below (Opinions are just that....facts and data allow you to better make your own informed decision).

Bottom line, this thread is old (the one I linked) and I have alot more data points now but most of my customers have seen 20+ from the swap and a bunch more torque as well (ported FAST to one of my ported MSD intakes).

When you figure what you can get for the FAST, the net dollars spent on this upgrade make this a no brainer IMO if you look at what your spending on a HP per dollar basis

Hell, 20 RWHP or there about is worth the outright purchase price not including whatever you can offset from the sale of your current intake.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...t-mamo-vs.html

Hope this helps....reach out if your in the market for a ported MSD.....it doubles the gains from the swap done properly

Regards,
Tony

Don’t forget to add the cost of a new tune and the time spent swapping and driving for the tune in as well...doesn’t seem worth the switch to me if you already have a fast. And aren’t there issues with the bolts on the msd coming loose?

Unless you have a hook up for tuning, it's not worth the swap.
