Default Reputable Shop near Louisville, KY

Ready to take the H/C/I plunge on my car. Looking for a shop within 100 miles or so of Louisville that any of you can recommend. Leaning towards Weapon-X in Cincy at this point, but open to suggestions through your experiences with others. Only current mods are Halltech CAI and Corsa Sport exhaust. TIA

Go to Jared Cocanougher at Race Proven Performance in Harrodsburg. He will get you set up well. Weapon X is a good option if you decide to go that route.

May just do that next week if things slow down enough here at work. I appreciate the invitation!

I’d recommend Jared down in Harrodsburg as well. He replaced the clutch on my car and will definitely take it back to him when it needs work in the future. Probably easiest to get in touch with him on Facebook

Jared has James tune all of the cars that he does work on if necessary. James also turns Jared's car.

You have plenty of time to plan and explore you're options. one suggestion is call Brian Tooley Racing and talk to Jared or drop by Tooley's shop in Bardstown and talk to him personally. Have a good idea of what you want from the car (street, street/strip, etc.) before you call any shop and ask for pricing and options. If you want to get options from Ben at Weapon X that is also a viable option close to Louisville that you can visit. Since you are looking at a H/C/I combo on you're car you may want to look at the stock 2008 or later LS3 heads if you have a earlier car. These heads supported 502 RWHP on my 2008 with nothing more than a good Serti valve job and milling them .020. Of course my 2008 car had other supporting mods documented on this site as well. I can hook you up with the current owner of my 2008 Corvette who lives here in Louisville to give you a better idea of what is possible if you wish. Really nice guy who posts here that would be happy to talk to you personally

Are you located in Louisville, that's where I live?
