Default Which add-ons/accessories are actually worth the money?

Recently I've been spending a lot of time looking up add-ons and accessories for my c6Z (as a new corvette owner does) and it got me thinking which accessories either mechanically or for the exterior are actually worth it? In other words, which accessories can you buy today that you feel should of been on the c6 back when it was released. Pictures or links are encouraged. Thanks!

"worth it" is entirely subjective... That is a question that you need to answer for yourself. My advice, fix the broken stuff first, leave the unbroken alone. Go from there.

Some of this will depend on whether you are planning to track your car.

As he said above, worth it is all subjective.

Some of the BEST mods I've done that I would do right away to any c6z.

Stereo upgrade. Get rid of the factory crap and put in a good android/apple system.
Steering Wheel. Get a nice steering wheel. Totally changes the feel of the car.
Padded Arm Rest. Nice leather padded arm rest for center console.
Good Tires. Factory tires suck, and most used ones have **** tires. Get some good rubber.
Alignment. Factory alignment sucks, eats tires. Get one setup to your style.

Of course fix all the mechanical issues.

Thanks! It's meant to be subjective. Just kind of wanted to know peoples opinions on things they've added that they believe are worth the money. Oh well.

Ill give these a look. How do you eliminate the skip shift? I presume you mean the 1st -> 4th light.

Everyone will have a different opinion. I did the same thing as you when I first purchased the car. I think there are a few things you should have, 1. definitely clear paint protectors in front of rear tires, 2. LED interior lights, 3. Tune, even if your car is bone stock, get a diablo and have Lew email you a tune, well worth the money! 4. Different mufflers (or CAT back system) stock is to quiet and boring for a Corvette. 5. Good digital camera so you can take cool pictures of your car all over the place!! Enjoy

I think they're around $300. This is Apsis' narrow version. Spendy but can save your paint, especially with sticky tires.

Yes, its also know as "CAGS" defeat. You'll still see the light flash, but the car wont make you go from 1 - 4.

A few different ways...
In-line at the trans:
Amazon Amazon

A fuse method: https://www.corvettemods.com/C6-Corv...SABEgI1XPD_BwE (but I hear this sometimes fails)

A tuner can tune this out, or essentially disable it.

There are things you can buy and plug in, but a tune will eliminate it so I would just go with a tune.

MGW is meh. If you have a worn shifter just replace the shifter box or get the Tmod custom one. Almost all gain from MGW is just replacing worn parts with new ones. Other than that it shifts like junk so I wouldn't recommend it.

I too may echo splash guards are worth it.

Trans, PS, Diff, upgraded brake fluid changes, new cabin & air filters...maybe not accessories, but also worth it.

Stereo speaker upgrade...can be.

Tunnel plate, lowering on stock bolts, tune, fog lights to driving lights, louder mufflers … perhaps.
Chrome or carbon fiber, pinstripes, floor mats.. personal taste decision

Dyno matting...could be.
Some may also say a tune, dial in air/ fuel ratio, and COW throttle speedup are also definitely worth it

All FWIW
