dealership wont replace mine unless its failed completly, pretty annoyed with that guess they expect me to brake down somewhere and need a tow pretty shitty GM.

This is such an odd stance to me. Is the part under recall or not? Sounds like not. No auto manufacturer will replace any part unless it can be proven failed when they are on the hook for it. Except in case of a full recall. How could anyone be mad about that?

Thanks! It’s so nice to see familiar faces... er... usernames. I’ve been on Corvette Forum hiatus since I sold the Z06 in 2015, but meesa back!

I’ve actually been in touch with the latest owner of my Z06. It’s now a track mule running around in Austin. Seems to still be holding up after the engine rebuild. I hope this car lasts awhile. On the bright side, it won’t take another $30K to get this car over 600rwhp unlike the Z06. It’s already there!
