3.90 gear install
Does anybody know of a video showing replacing the ring and pinion in the Z06 diff? Not saying I can do it myself but I'd like to see whats involved. Did a search on Youtube and found some other related vids like the guy who had a broken Bellville spring in the clutch pack but nada on R & P. Also would like to see any written instructions such as from a shop manual. Thanks

you need a lot of special tools to do it or if you dont have all the tools then you need to be damn good at setting up rears. this guy went through his and cataloged it well.

Burning Brakes
I installed a 4.10 in my c6 its not a hard job but if this is a 1 time only? U would better off sending it to a shop that specializes in these rearends.the cost of shims and tools set me back 500.00 but I still got my tools if I brake 1. Good luck on your install

Melting Slicks
There also may be other little tid-bits of helpful in the installation of the gears that a seasoned guy that does this (like Rick at RTK56 or RPM) would know that the one off guy might not. Or you break something because you are a first timer at this because you thought it went this way when in fact it went that way.
