Default New to me

Well, after 3 days of driving from Pensacola, FL back to Pagosa Springs, CO, I finally got my new to me ZR1 Home. DAMN, what a machine. I haven't been into it yet but what little I did...............It's a Machine! Not as economical as my '08 base but I didn't buy it for economy! Anybody wanting to do business with Mike Woods won't have to worry about him. He's a first rate gentleman and a very gracious host. This car looks better than new. I can't find a ding on it anywhere, it's immaculate! It's an '09 and had just 21,348 miles on her, and just getting her home, I added almost 1,700 miles to her. Those won't be the last that get added by any means.
Thanks Mike.

Congratulations! C6 is still new if you want it to be. Easy to consider it new. As time goes on, the gap in advancement from generation to generation decreases. There's definitely something to be said for the C7's upscale interior, but I still regard a C6 ZR1 as quite modern. And definitely a beast.

Congratulations and welcome to the club Rick.

It's easy to do business with someone who is just as honest and has the same level of integrity.

I'll be working to get the 13 Night Race Blue ZR1 shined up as nice as the Blade Silver 09.

I wish I could keep them all.

All the C7 has is a nice radio and some fancy gauges.

Throw a nice head unit in the C6 and get the torque app and you're good.

The C6 ZR is the best corvette made IMHO.

My '08 on the left and the '09 ZR1 on the right

The '08 is gonna be my daily driver. It's clean with 76,000+ on the odometer. The ZR1 will be cared for, like Mike did, with loving care.

Unfortunately. My '08 had the plate mount already screwed into the front when I got it. I bought a show and go for the ZR1 because, when I move, TX also requires a front plate.

Have never run a plate on any of my sports cars for the last 28 years in TX. Have been pulled over once where it was even mentioned... and the real reason was due to speeding. The officer looked at my car and said, "I wouldn't put a front plate on this thing, either."

I throw my plate on the windshield with the little suction cups and leave it at that. Only been stopped once and got a warning.

About 20 miles South of Lubbock. I bought some farm land and am building a house on it.

Sounds like its time for a race track.
