High cold compression test?
Did a cold compression test and repeatedly keeps coming up ~260psi.
LS7, shaved heads 0.030 (supposed to be anyhow....), K501, stock bottom end.
Car is cold, 102kpa barometric, seems stupid high!
Fuel is disabled (using WOT flood mode), no oil in cyls.
Thoughts? This could also be why it doesnt take much timing before pinging on anything under 94...
Thanks.

Burning Brakes
Is that across all cylinders? Any chance it jumped timing? Intake valve events will play large role in static pressure.
Edit: I see k501 now. Did you install or buy it this way? How long has it been doing this? Any chance the install was dorked up.
Was this measured with the throttle body blade open?

You have to be careful with compression numbers on a hydraulic roller cam, the lifters will bleed down on the valves that were open the car was turned off. This will cause some cylinders to show really high cranking compression since the valves close really early and give false high cranking numbers.
