New here, just got an 04 z and have a few questions.
Just picked up a machine silver 04 z06 yesterday and love it. Can't resist the 0% financing and invoice price. I have a few question as this is my 1st c5.
1)Do these cars come with locking lug nuts?
2)I noticed that there is a gap between the roof and the black hard plastic molding by the top of the window. seems like the passenger side rear is worst than the driver side. Is this normal or am i nit picking too much?
Thanks,
Bill

Congrats on the Zo6!! You're in for a treat.
Stop by and check other ZO6 roof to winshield fitment tolerances. Just by eye balling you should see a commonality with yours.
These cars a great. They are however domestic built. On the fit and finish/quality scale, the Vette can be minimally suspect when compared to other cars in it's price range. You have to love and appreciate the simplicity of the Hot rod and the newer engineering genius of the Vette and then putting up with some of these nuances isn't such a task.
With this in mind, there isn't any other Hot Rod made to date with the performance protocols of the Vette. To keep price points affordable there will be some small aesthetic issues. Enviornmental regs also keep paint quality on domestic rigs second rate.
Just remember, even tho you paid a chunk of hard earned change for your steed, pound for pound and dollar per horsepower and technological refinement, there is nothing comprable, nothing.
No, what you got there my friend is absolutley an awesome high performance muscle car of the times, bar none.
Now, go out and give that beast a hug.
