When the C6 was offically introduced Dave Hill said 500hp, and that was like from a mag. or something. I guess they were lying. (you dont have to do the ":withstupid:" or the "you shouldent listen to every rumor you hear" crap. :rolleyes:

450 HP at 2900 lbs is ok.
475 HP at 2900 lbs is better.
500 HP at 3000 lbs is even better. no?
Why do i have a gut feeling that the first year we are gonna have 450 HP?? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.. :smash:
Well, then again, at 2900 lbs, i guess that will be ok. whats that? an 11.7 sec car?

Starting to, we're in an entire "what if" thread. GM has released nothing on the Z06 yet.

Ok so i guess we are dreaming about a ZO6 then. The current coupe is the only platform slated for production... right? Since nothing is "official" or we can't get our hands on it.
What im trying to say is that the zo6 topics discussed here can at least be tracked back to a credible source. How many times have ppl quoted Dave Hill saying the Zo6 will have this or it will stomp the current competetion ie Viper, GT.
All im saying is most of the leaks from certain sources have been right on the money. When the dealers met in Las Vegas to view the c6, which was a few months before the official unveiling in Detroit, I was told the numbers were 400 and 400 for the coupe. Same weight as the c5, bigger rims, upgraded interior. Well what do ya know...
Now what have u heard about the viper? Not what they "could" do.
