[Z06] Lingenfelter

Lingenfelter
i heard some one talking abou the 660 HP Lingenfelter package for the Z06... i searched Lingenfelter website and i only found 616 BHP and 630 BHP packages. and i noticed that the 616 BHP package price is $5,895.00 and for the 630 BHP packe (only 14 additionl hp) it's $8,995.00
my concerns are:
1- is the 630 HP package worth the extrea CA$H ?
2- i live in Dubai (middle east) and to get the lingenfelter package i have to ship the Z to the US, which will cost me extra $3000-4000 for ocean shipping (LPE will arrange everything). i heard very good things about LPE and they have nice reputation, everyone who had experience with LPE seems to be fully satisfied and that's what encouraged me think about this plan. my car is bone stock and i thought if i want to modify it and void my warranty i would go for a professional job even if it costs more money.
do you guys think this is a good idea?
is it worth shipping the car to the US (cost will be: shipping price + package price + i won't have the Z06 for a long time, i expect waiting for more than two months to ship the car, have the package installed, and have the car shipped back to me)...

If you want it done right, Lingenfelter is a top choice. Or you can take your chances with the local guys in Dubai. To me the shipping cost & wait to get it done, would be well worth sending it to LPE.

I have the 616 hp package from Lingenfelter. To me the extra cost for the 630 hp was not worth it only because I was not looking for the most hp I could get. I only wanted it to sound like a hot rod.
I would highly recommend Lingenfelter. I have been very satisfied with their work and the 616 hp package

I was told, and I may be wrong, that if you take the Lingenfelter route, be sure to send the car with headers attached. From what I understand, they won't do headers under penalty of law unless the car arrives with headers on. Good luck with your project. Look at the Vette Docs as well in NY.

If you are going through the cost of shipping and such to lingenfelter then I would get the 660 package just call them up and they can explain the new package. I am pretty sure they use the GT21 and thats a killer cam I used it myself for a bit.

Yes and no to voiding of warranty. With my dealer it is not a problem, they know what I have done and work with me on warranty repairs. With that said if I would blow up the motor I would expect some problems with warranty.

It will be great if you can post a dyno test I am very interested to know where I can find the cam and headers that can give this much HP
