Dave ressler just called
Yes, True. Very surprised. Dave Ressler just called me from his home. He told me that his daughter was getting married this weekend, they just got back from NCM picking up "the kid's" wedding present..a pair of ZR1's
I had e-mailed Dave a few month's ago to tell him what a great thing he did for charity, buying the first ZR1 for a million. I also mentioned that I was looking for a fair deal on a ZR1.
Dave told me that he has an interesting deal for some one. A new Cyber ZR1 3ZR, and a New 1990 ZR1 from his collection with 12 miles on the ODO. Price $180,000. He will not split the pair up. If interested..and very serious..I have his home number. (PM) me.
Dave seem's like a very down to earth guy, we talked Corvette's for about 10 minutes.
Thank you for the call Mr. Ressler, congrats on the wedding

Perhaps the 1990 with 12 miles is worth around 40 or so...if you can sell it...
The balance would be what you may have in a new ZR1...
Maybe a decent deal for the right guy or collector...
It's too bad the ZR-1's did not hold their value better...alot of folks swore they were the next 67 427/435's...
Many paid over sticker back then...msrp was around $65,000 and more for 1994 and 1995 cars...
Good luck to whom ever buys them...I hope they are a Forum member...so we can see pictures of them together...

It's not too late. That COULD still happen. 67's didn't become valuable for 30 years. The ZR1's are only 18. I had a 1970 Hemi Challenger that I sold for $1500.

two deals available.
i understand there are two deals available (through another person speaking for ressler).
1. 2009 ZR1 with a 1990 ZR1 300 miles @175k
2. 2009 ZR1 (a second one) with 1993 ZR1 2300 miles @ 195K.
both 2009 ZR1's were driven from BG to his montana store. one is yellow, one is cyber grey. he has these two in addition to his million dollar baby.
i am waiting for a 2009 ZR1 @ sticker. i sold my c4 and don't want another one. and i can drive the 98 and 06 convertibles until the price comes down on the ZR1.
