This is great, but you mean if I was to buy a new Z06, and sign up for the new engine build experience, then the famous Mike could instruct me?

Mike's Magic
I'm pretty sure you could have Mr. Priest work with you on your next build if you make that request. I'd be glad to give Mike a call and let him know you are on the way!
So would this be a stable mate for Carly?
Glad you've still got the bug!

Yes, it would be a friend for Carly to play with. Still thinking about it, Ill let you know, maybe I should wait for 2018 model, and maybe another ZR1?

J.D. Dickinson
Just turned 30k miles. I am the 2nd owner, as far as I know.
What a beast of a motor! I only thought I knew what fast was, until I piloted a ZR1 for the 1st time.

Looking for a Dale Simmet Corvette
Here is an unusual and heartfelt request.
Dale Simmet was an engine builder at Wixom PBC. He was a great guy to work with and took a lot of pride in his work.
Tragically, he died not long after he retired and not long after he bought his dream car, a new Corvette.
His daughter is now looking for a Corvette with an engine built by her dad, Dale Simmet. Which means it would have to be a C6 Z06, ZR1 or GS with a dry sump engine. So if by chance you have a Dale Simmet engine in your Corvette, or know of someone who does, and is considering a sale, please let me know.
This request comes to me via Gary Andrews, another former engine builder at Wixom and friend of the Simmet family. Thank you for giving this matter your attention.
