It looks OK but I hate ZR1 wheels. Looks like GM just took the C6 Z06 wheels and added 5 more sets of spokes. No imagination whatsoever and too busy looking for my taste.

But I'd certainly tolerate them if I had the good fortune to own a ZR1!

At least he did it on the fastest color.

I wonder what that conversion cost?

OK, maybe YOU should go back and read what I said. Since I already know and you apparently do not. Now seriously, who the heck in their right mind would claim to be able to read the VIN from one of those 3 pics..

Peace,
Glenn

Who cares that you needed to take the time for that foolish reply???

Please, your reply was no better than the one you're complaining about...

As you've read before and said for many years, "if you have no interest, move onward"...............

You've known me long enough, if someone is going to call me out on a public form as this guy did and try to make me look stupid, I'm telling him about it...

That's how it is and will be. Sorry if it wasted precious seconds of your life. You really shouldn't have bothered reading any of it, but you just had to..

LMAO. Hey Glenn for the record I wasn't really trying to make you look stupid but, I understand things can be lost in translation over typed messages. Honestly I was just poking fun obviously no one can see the VIN from the pictures and I honestly don't care if you type VIN, VIN# or Vin Diesel.

I would not, could not justify cutting into a new ZR1 myself, but it is one of a kind!! If this were Lemans Blue, I'd be all over it too.

Assuming it was put together by competent car builders, it appears to be executed as well as a factory build from the outside. GM is building wide bodied GS convertibles now and they are received very well it seems. I suspect if GM unveiled this...many of us would say "it's about time!"

I'd bet a drop-top ZR1 would have a 25ish% uptake too, as very few of us will ever test this car to its current design limits. But I don’t see that ever happening.

Not if they turned it into convertible. if the vin number says its a Zr1 its a zr1. Who cares if he chopped his zr1 up into a vert. it's his choice. He's probably OT ballin a zr1

Looks that way. I will do the owner a favor and take it off his hands.

I don't like yellow but other than that it is an awesome idea. Kind of a shame to waste that carbon fiber but I guess to have the wind in your hair it was a worthy sacrifice. I figured it was only a matter of time before somebody did this. The kit or whatever needs to be done was figured out with the Z06.
