Is this on decel with the exhaust flaps open with the fuse pulled or M2W controller?

More pronounced with flaps open. Does it with them closed as well. They all do it, it is normal (my Ferrari does it as well).

Should not happen with butterflies closed. Mine doesn't pop unless I open up the valves.

If it is an aftermarket exhaust the popping is from unburned gasses from deceleration. No worry its normal cause mine does it as well and I have a Base C6.

I guess you never drove a nice 396 or (real) 427 ....even a well built dual exhaust 327 or 350 will do this. You're driving a muscle car with a big engine that breathes deeply. Enjoy the sounds of respiration.

So are you saying the Z06 is not a real 427? Just kidding. I know it's not a big block. But yes my Z06 after the muffler mod spit and popped alot. And it did sound very good.

A lot of it is in the tuning. Decel enleanment cuts the fuel off on decel. Not enough fuel for combustion in the chamber, so the last little bit that is there goes out the pipes as raw fuel. Pops when it hits the oxygen. Increase the decel fuel and the popping will go away, mpgs will take a little hit.

Michrider pretty much nailed it here. It is very normal and is not causing any harm. It is there with the factory mufflers they just cancel it out so you don't hear it much. When you replace the exhaust with something less restrictive or louder you start hearing it more. I am with a lot of you guys and like it.
