[ZR1] Couple of questions

They range from $350-1000(from GM of course) a piece I think. I'm just going to take mine off and apart and have the painted for much cheaper. The trick is getting them apart without ruining them. you have to bake them in the oven to get them apart but you can't do it at too hi of heat or it will ruin them. I'm going to try and ty about 150 to loosen them up. I did it on my FJ cruiser and it turned out good.

There were some threads in the past concerning crazing of the actual lense if tint/clear bra was put on the lense. Haven't seen any of those threads recently. You might ask over in General C6 forum.
If you buy the headlights from GM, the Spectorworks cf headlights end up costing about the same. Just another option to consider...its fun spending YOUR money

Lens crazing is not due to application of tint or paint protection film. It's a chemical reaction certain alcohol based cleaner have with the lens. I have seen numerous Corvettes, as well as other cars, on the lot with crazed headlights. None of them had film on them. I have installed hundreds of headlight kits without on single car having crazing issues after the film was installled. For a while GM was passing the buck and saying film caused heat build up. But it was bogus since numerous brand new vehicles were getting crazed lights without even being driven.

I can see clearly now
I agree completely with Texas Venom. I have installed the film on my last 3 C6s Including a Ron Fellows Z06 and a ZR1. I have never had a problem with the lens but for sure the film has saved me from a very expensive replacement.
