Good catch! Even without the MPSC tires it might be a good idea. You wouldn't want to pick up a stone chip on the way home on your brand new ride.

With the extra attention that museum delivery cars get the application is probably well done.

This is how I would understand it as well. The Tremec TR6060 MH3 close ratio 6 spd manual transmission introduced on the 2009-2011 ZR1, with the 2.29 first gear and .68 6th gear becomes part of the ZR1 high performance package in 2012, and the 2012 standard ZR1 gets a new ME2 wide ratio gearbox.

It is possible. That's kind of how I read the initial release. We won't know for certain until the Bash. I'm sure official tech detail will follow then.
