I posted a little bit on this in another thread of the car I just picked up. I just recently bought a 2011 z06 and got rid off my 2005 coupe. I pulled the exhaust and vararam of the coupe before I traded it in.
I have been looking at my exhaust and measuring the collector and x-pipe. It measure 3". Wondering if these will bolt up to the z06 heads. I am unable to get the car to my buddies shop to get it on a lift till spring. I know they are 1 3/4" headers but I do not plan on camming or FI on the car. Please let me know if these will fit.

Second is the vararam intake. I know the z06 has the metal coupling that has the sensor in it. I can pull the sensor out of my car and make a pipe to put the sensor in. My question is, is the CAI the same size on the ls2 and the z06? Is it just the metal coupling with the sensor that is different? Can I buy just the metal coupling to attach to my vararam?
Trying to save some money on the go fast mods for the good looking mods.

Anybody have any opinions on fitment of this stuff.

Vararam for Ls2 will not work on a Z06. Also the Ls2 LT headers will not work either. May want to look into 1 7/8 LT headers. You just bought a 2011 Z, don't make rig parts to fit. Just my .02's.

I wouldn't do the 1 7/8" unless your planning on doing a much bigger head and cam package?

As for the VaraRam, all C6 units are the same, however the top part is different for the LS3/LS7 cars due to the different MAF so you would have to buy the rest of the smaller parts to finish.
